Celebrating the passing of the integrated education bill

On the evening of 9 March 2022, now a day to be remembered in the history of the Integrated Education movement, AlumNI members and supporters had a hybrid celebration of the passing of Integrated Education Bill. Members close to Belfast were able to meet at the Book Bar, Accidental Theatre, and those joining online did so by Zoom (though we all wished we could have been there in person!).

Kellie Armstrong (Alliance Party), who put forward the Private Member’s Bill and a huge supporter of Integrated Education, joined us to thank us for our efforts in getting the Integrated Education bill through, noting our efforts at countering the misinformation being shared by other political parties and opposing educational bodies.
