I grew up in Derry, attending Oakgrove Integrated Primary School and College. After secondary education I the enrolled at Queens University Belfast, studying Law with Politics and spent a year as Vice President for Equality and Diversity of the Student Union at QUB. After a quick stint in China on an internship, I moved to London in 2013 where I now work as a Technology Consultant. I have been involved with the Integrated AlumNI since 2013, first as a member, then as Chair of the London group and most recently as Chair of the Board of Trustees.

I have been involved in the Integrated AlumNI since its very early days in London. I loved meeting other people in London who shared a common background, were really lovely and had a passion for Integrated Education. As a small team we saw the potential and started to formalise as a group with the help of the IEF and mentors. I am most proud of the Back to School Programme, which is the AlumNI’s key connect with schools and students.

Integrated Education has had a big impact on my life and continues to do so, I believe it is the key to moving on from our troubled past and is a catalyst for innovation, compassion and citizenship among our young people.
