The Integrated AlumNI has enjoyed a year of expansion to both Ulster University and Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) in the form of two new societies. The societies’ established, both named the ‘Integrated Society’, aim to connect with students who are alumni from integrated schools as well as students who support integrated education.
The QUB Integrated Society made a presence in its first year at the QUB Fresher’s Fair. Overall, the experience was amazing! Other societies, including the likes of the Literific Society, are keen to connect with us to engage students’ in the discussion of integrated education. Students are becoming more aware of the movement for integrated education, and the benefits it brings to our society. Now is the time to #JoinIN and promote integration for all!
We hope to connect with other QUB societies to spread the word of integrated education in the form of debates, campaigns, as well as social activities, allowing members to connect with like-minded people!
Connecting with the QUB student population as a branch of the Integrated AlumNI means we are expanding our student networks. We are determined to help promote integrated education as the most constructive step towards the truly shared Northern Ireland we all believe in. It’s also a lot of fun!
As a student of Queen’s University Belfast, you can join the network today! Whether you are a past pupil of an integrated school, or are passionate about integrated education, join us today and become an official member of the newly established QUB Integrated Society! If you wish to find out more about the fresh and exciting QUB Integrated Society, please don’t hesitate to give us a shout at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to meeting you!
